Testimony

I just wanted to share my testimony as the first blog entry. I had been searching for the truth for a long time and had not seemed to find it any where i had been looking. Then when we moved from Green Vally down to Tuscany in Aurora The missionaries from the Tuscany ward were coming to our house for a visit and As they started teaching me was the first time i was able to feel the spirit. By the end of that lesson i has gotten the Holy Ghost bumbs several times and felt an amazing sense of peace. I had had missionaries come visit me before and never felt that way before. So we decided to go to church that Sunday. When i got there it was like i was seeing long lost friends and family the most welcoming feeling i had ever felt going into a church so I knew then that my Family had found a home within the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints The next week the lesson again was great and then talk of baptism was introduced and i knew it was the right thing to do for me and my family. I prayed about it and was again over taken by the Holy Ghost bumps and knew that it was true. so I started to read the book of Mormon and this also made me feel as i was doing the right thing. I agreed to be baptized and was baptized the 6th of july2014 at the age of 41. I bear my testimony that this church is true and that the book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
